National Consortium of Academic Nurse Educators, Inc.

About us

Welcome to the National Consortium of Academic Nurse Educators, Inc. (NC-ANE), a group leading innovation for the future of nursing education and addressing the shortage of nursing faculty.

As a dedicated non-profit, NC-ANE embodies the collective strength of nurse educators spanning healthcare, academic, and nursing groups from across the U.S. Since May 2023, we've created professional networks, helpful resources, and events that directly address the struggles faced by ANEs.

THE NC-ANE MISSION

To advocate for academic nurse educators as advanced practice nurses, who are competent in their specialty, through research endeavors and collaboration with other professional organizations and partnerships with various stakeholders.

Empowering Academic Nurse Educators

NC-ANE offers diverse opportunities for its members to work with any sub-committee of their interest as well as to engage in scholastic activities to promote their professional growth.

We encourage all academic and clinical nurse educators, graduate-level nursing students, and others with special nursing skills in research, community organization, advocacy, policy, lobbying, etc. to become a member of NC-ANE.
